Adjustments

Bleeding_Hearts_x

I am having a hard time believing that it has been almost two weeks since I wrote a blog post.  Whaaa?  As some of you may know I began my new full-time job last week, as in my 8:00 am – 5:00 pm J.O.B.  There is nothing particularly earth-shattering or even interesting in that bit of news, other than the fact that I have worked out of my home for the past 9 years.  This made for a completely exhausting week last week.  I literally came home each evening and plopped myself onto the couch where I stayed until 9:00 or 10:00 pm and then dragged myself to sleep.  How do you working ladies do this??

This is going to take some getting used to, that’s for sure.  Among other traumas of the past week (like the alarm going off at 6:45 am every day), I am terribly missing my blogging, and I don’t mean just the posting, but reading everyone else’s blogs too!  I have well over 200 posts waiting for me in my Reader.  Yikes!  When will I ever find the time?  I am going through some major blog withdrawal over here.

I imagine in time (hopefully within a few weeks) I will fall into the groove of this new schedule and find time for important things, like laundry, cleaning, and blogging.

Until then, have a great week and Happy Valentines Day.  Lots of love from me to you!!

  1. Don't try to do too much during the weeknights after work, Stephanie. Although it will get easier to do more when it stays lighter out for longer. If you can get dinner and a load of laundry in I consider that a good evening! Of course, the family has to pitch in a bit more, too. Hopefully, you'll find a routine that works for you, but right now I think you are still adapting to this change.

  3. It is really good to hear from you. I wondered how you were doing. I don't know how those with full time jobs do it...I can barely read all the blogs I want to and I'm around all day. I wouldn't be able to move if I went back to full time working! I hope you are enjoying the job!
