Happiness is.........

The week of my 41st Birthday has not been stellar to say the least.  Work was especially stressful, I can never seem to catch up on my sleep, and my birthday fell on a Wednesday.  Blah!!

On Wednesday, September 15th I rushed home from my day job to change my outfit and freshen up.  I had about 10 minutes to get myself together and head to my once-a-week job at Lizzie's cheer/dance gym.

As I rushed into my bedroom to change my clothing, I was met with this unexpected deliciousness:

I love my Lizzie. Her smile and her little art project made my birthday. Heck, who am I kidding?  It made my September!!

She even gave me smiley faces on the television:

....flowers I picked from my yard - some wild, some planted. Love it !!

....hearing the words "Kris...you are safe tonight". Woohoo!

Happiness Is........

.......Being a front row spectator to your mother & her siblings trying to determine the amount of edible items given in the "12 Days of Christmas". Most hilarious thing I've seen in a long time. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Happiness is....

....having this crazy group of friends, that took me out for my birthday, and made it one of the best birthdays ever. We had tons of fun, ate, drank, pissed off a bachlorette party, did shots, got in trouble with management, ran crazy thru the streets of columbus, ran thru the halls of a hotel making tons of noise, & all the while setting a perfectly horrible example for our daughters - who had just as much fun as we did!!
 

I hope they grow up just like us - loving life, having fun, enjoying great friends, & never taking anything too seriously.
