Thanksgiving....Down on the Farm.

Our Thanksgiving Day was spent at my cousin's Ohio farm.

I took loads of photos.

Not sure anyone will want to see them, but here they are.

My sister Rachael made the cutest turkey placecards.  They were a big hit.

Saying grace before dinner.

This was a circle of 25 family members circling the room.

Turkey.
Stuffing.
Mashed potatos and gravy.
Stuffed Cabbage.
Apple Sauce.
Salad.
Yum.

After dinner we went outdoors to walk off all of those calories.

While I was taking these photos I felt like Pioneer Woman.  You know,  minus the mad skills in photography and the kick-ass camera.  Oh, and she has like thousands of cattle, and we had 8 cows.

Moo.

Meanwhile, back inside the tryptophan had taken ahold.

It was such a special weekend with multiple family gatherings and relatives visiting from New York and Florida.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.

  2. I think it looks like fun! Love the cows, of course they aren't rare around here...we have some that live right down the street! It is nice that you had such a big group of family for Thanksgiving. The food looked great!

  3. I loved all the family pictures. The food looked so good (and the deserts). And then seeing the kids playing Hungry Hippo made me very nostalgic! Thanks.
